The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is the most extreme road going model the German car manufacturer has built so far, and it now reached the USA shores. Porsche has released a video showing the first drive test day with the Porsche 911 GT2 RS in the USA. Yes, the new GT2 RS is in the United States, but unfortunately, it was sold out back in October last year.
The standard GT2 was already a mad machine, being called by many the "Widow Maker". Imagine what it can do with the extra 90 hp in the RS version. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS sports a 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine which spits out 620 horsepower and is able to propel it from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The 911 GT2 RS is equipped with VTG, which stands for variable
turbine geometry, and is able to offer a fuel economy of up to 11.9 l/100 km.
American customers of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS took delivery of their new passion at the El Toro Air Station in Irvine California, where they also had the chance to familiarize themselves with the new car, before taking it on public roads. We must tell you, the GT2 RS is not a toy for those lacking the talent for driving.
