As announced back at the beginning of this month, the Japanese carmaker has premiered the 2011 Toyota Highlander at the Moscow auto show. The company has also released new 2011 Toyota Highlander images showing the new version of the 4x4 in detail. As previously announced, the 2011 Toyota Highlander will be available with a choice between two engines. The more powerful model, will have a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine with an output of 273 hp at 6,200 rpm and 337 Nm torque at 4,700 rpm. With this engine, the top speed of the 2011 Toyota Highlander is rated at 180 km/h and the company says it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. The entry level 2011 Toyota Highlander will be powered by a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine 187 hp.

Although the details its details are scarce at the moment, the 2011 Toyota Highlander will also offer a hybrid version in the near future.

As far as the transmission options go, we know the 2011 Toyota Highlander will offer the choice of a 5-speed automatic transmission. It's not certain at the moment if it will also get a manual.

The new version 2011 Toyota Highlander measures 4785 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, 1760 mm in



height and has a 2790 mm wheelbase.

The manufacturer says it will give the 2011 Toyota Highlander a second row of rear seats, increasing its passenger capacity to 7 people.

The 2011 Toyota Highlander sits on new 19 inch alloys and comes with extensive design modifications of the front and rear. The new version has updates light, front grille and front and rear bumpers. The interior has also been upgraded.
