The 2014 Toyota Highlander's price list for the United States market was announced today, as the new version of the SUV will go on sale at the middle of February. Toyota is going to sell the 2014 Highlander in four trim levels (LE, LE Plus, XLE and Limited) and each of them is going to be available with a front-wheel (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. There are two engines available. All grades of the new Toyota Highlander (2014) will be available with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with dual Variable-Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), that develops 270 hp at 6,200 rpm and 248 lbs.-feet of torque at 4,700 rpm. With this engine, the new Highlander (2014) promises an EPA fuel economy of 19 mpg city/25 mpg highway/21 mpg combined on FWD models and 18/24/20 for AWD.
The 2014 Toyota Highlander LE will also be available with a 2.7-liter engine developing 185 hp. This version promises a fuel consumption of 20 mpg in the city, 25 mpg on the highway, and 22 mpg combined. Toyota will sell the 2014 Highlander with a 6-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission that offers selectable manual sequential shifting.
The 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with a high-torque electric drive motor-generator. It promises a fuel economy of 27 mpg city/28mpg highway/28 mpg combined.
For the FWD version, the 2014 Highlander's price list starts at $29,215 MSRP and it goes up to $42,130 MSRP for the Limited version with the Platinum Package. For the AWD models, the 2014 Toyota Highlander's price list starts at $31,980 and it goes up to $43,590. The 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is going to cost you at least $47,300. The top of the range Highlander Hybrid's price is set at $49,790 MSRP.

Toyota will sell the 2014 Highlander with a 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-vehicle warranty. Additional 60-month warranties cover the powertrain for 60,000 miles and corrosion with no mileage limitation. The Hybrid / electric system is covered by a warranty of eight years/100,000 miles.
