Toyota released today the 2012 Tacoma price list, as the new version of the pickup truck goes on sale across the U.S. this month. The 2012 Tacoma is available in two versions, 4x4 and 4x2, and in several trim levels, including Base L4 and V6, PreRunner L4 and V6, X-Runner V6, PreRunner LB V6 and Base LB V6. Toyota is offering three choices in cabin style for the 2012 Tacoma, including regular cab, access cab and double cab.
The L4 version of the 2012 Toyota Tacoma is powered by a 2.7-liter Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) in-line 4-cylinder engine developing 159 hp and 180 lb-ft. of torque. the more powerful version of the 2012 Tacoma, the V6, has a 4.0-liter DOHC unit with an output of 236 hp with 266 lb-ft. of torque. The V6 version of the 2012 Tacoma,
when equipped with the Tow Package, has a maximum towing capacity of 6,500 pounds.
The standard equipment list of the 2012 Toyota Tacoma includes the car manufacturer's Star Safety System, anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC) and Smart Stop Technology.
Optionally, you can equip your 2012 Tacoma with the Entune multi-media system, which comes with
such services as Bing and Pandora, and with Bluetooth / USB connectivity.
The 2012 Toyota Tacoma price list starts at $16,875 USD for the entry level model, and goes up to $27,525 GBP for the Base LB V6 Double Cab version. These prices do not include the delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee of $810.
