Toyota announced today the Prius C's price list for the USA market, where the new hybrid will go on sale this March. The Toyota Prius C 5-door hatchback will be available in the United States in four trim levels, each having a very original name: ONE, TWO, THREE and FOUR. Toyota prices the Prius C hatch from $18,950 MSRP (ONE). The price gets up to $19,900 for the TWO, to $21,635 for the THREE and to $23,230 for the top of the range FOUR version. The Prius hatchback will be available with a few optional extras, which are not included in the base price of the car.

You'll be able to equip your Prius c Three with a power tilt/slide moonroof with a sliding sunshade, which will cost you an extra MSRP $850 and 15-inch alloys plus tires for MSRP $390.

Apart from these two options, the Prius c FOUR can benefit from a set of 16-inch alloys, which will set you back MSRP $300. Toyota is offering the moonroof, the 16-inch alloys and the tires as a package, which is priced at MSRP $1,150.

The Toyota Prius C hatch is powered by the Hybrid Synergy Drive, which incorporates a 1.5-liter DOHC, 16-valve petrol engine with VVT-i and a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor. The hatchback Prius develops a total of 99 horsepower, and comes with a 144 volt nickel-metal hydride battery, which is responsible for 25.9 hp.

The standard equipment list of the Toyota Prius C includes the Advanced Whiplash-Injury-Lessening seats and the Star Safety System. Toyota's Star Safety System includes the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction control (TRAC), the ABS with EBD and Brake Assist (BA), and the Smart Stop Technology (SST).
