A few days ago we brought you news of a self driving Toyota Prius developed by Google. The driverless Toyota Prius from Google was caught on various spy videos. ABC paid a visit to Google to find out more about their self-driving Toyota Prius and managed to get various new details, which are available in the video after the jump. For example, the Google Toyota Prius uses a special laser system that works a s a radar and helps the car navigate through traffic.
Google developed the driverless Toyota Prius to demonstrate technology that could one day cut traffic accidents in half. Google also mentioned it doesn’t have any plans to put their Prius into production anytime soon.
