Over the past couple of years, there have been many indications that the Audi RS4 will not get a new version ever again. These rumors have been furthered confirmed by the launch of the new RS5. New developments indicate that the Audi RS4 might make a comeback in 2012. Various sources are reporting that the 2012 Audi RS4 will be a reality, powered by a new V8 engine. The 2012 Audi RS4 will spin all its four wheels again with the help of a V8 TFSI powerplant developing between 450 and 500 hp.
The 2012 Audi RS4 will have the quattro all-wheel-drive system, obviously, and will be available both as a sedan and an Avant (station wagon / estate).
Both versions of the 2012 Audi RS4 will be powered by the same V8, which apparently, will make its way into the RS6 and RS7 too. Of course, in these versions it will offer mode power and torque.
