Audi revealed today the RS4 Avant Nogaro selection, or special edition, which is going to have its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro's price is going to start at 87,300 EUR. The Audi RS4 Nogaro will go on sale soon after its premiere in Geneva. The RS4 Nogaro is powered by the 4.2-liter V8 FSI naturally aspired engine, which develops 331 kW (450 hp) at 8,250 rpm, 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft) of torque between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. With this engine, the Nogaro RS4 is able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and to reach a top speed of 280 km/h (173.98 mph). Audi rates the RS4 Nogaro with a fuel consumption of 21.98 US mpg (10.7 liters per 100 kilometers) and a CO2 emissions level of 400.73 g/mile (249 g/km).
The engine of the RS4 Nogaro is mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission and the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.
The Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro is meant to celebrate the carmaker's first RS model, which is the Avant RS2 that was launched twenty years ago. Some of its distinctive features include the Nogaro blue, pearl effect paint finish, the high-gloss black Singleframe grille and window slot trims, the matt black roof rails and the high-gloss black tailpipes.
Audi equips the RS4 Nogaro with a self-locking crown gear center differential (40:60 locking ration front/rear), the drive select dynamic driving system, MMI navigation, the sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), and 20-inch alloys. Optionally, the RS4 Nogaro comes with carbon ceramic brakes, and the possibility to completely deactivate the ESC.
For the interior of the RS4 Nogaro, Audi is offering two different upholstery versions, sport seats, leather and Alcantara trim parts, and various badges.
