UPDATE: Video: MTM Audi RS4 Clubsport
MTM means Motoren Technik Mayer and it's probably the most respected Audi Tuning Company in Europe. It was founded by Roland Mayer, a former Audi engineer, in the '80s.
Their latest project is a 535 HP Audi RS4 Clubsport. By using a liquid-to-air intercooled, Lysolm-type supercharger onto the 4.2-liter V8, they managed to get the RS4 Clubsport to go from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. By using this setup, the power output is 535 HP and 428 ft.-lb. of torque.
The weight is also dropped by 350 pounds. Some of the modifications include new suspension and the
carbon fiber hood bulge needed to make room for the supercharger.
The Audi RS4 and the Audi R8 share the same 4.2-liter V8 engine. Is this a practice run for a MTM Audi R8?
