MTM Audi A1 Quattro Group B

The power-crazed Audi specialists from MTM revealed today the A1 Quattro Group B, which is probably the most insane pocket-rocket money can buy. The MTM Audi A1 Quattro Group B is powered by a heavily modified 2.5-liter engine that develops 427 hp. The tuners from MTM believe that they can take this engine even further, to a maximum output of 450 hp. Just imagine what 450 hp can do in such a tiny car as the Audi A1. Unfortunately, MTM did not disclose the modifications that enable the A1 Quattro Group B's engine to put out so much horsepower. Apart from the pumped up powertrain, the MTM Audi A1 Quattro Group B could be equipped with a race-derived sequential gearbox too. A similar powertrain managed to take the A1 Nardo Edition up to a top speed of 201 mph (324 km/h).

The MTM Audi A1 Quattro Group B comes equipped with a wide body kit developed by Roland Hall from South Carolina. It includes wider wheel arches, obviously, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a modified hood with vents for cooling the engine compartment, a carbon front splitter, a rear diffuser and a massive rear wing. The MTM Audi A1 Quattro Group B also seems to be equipped with a sport suspension and a bespoke exhaust system.

MTM plans to build around ten units of the Audi A1 Quattro Group B, at a price starting from €120,000.
