The initial Audi A1 Quattro info has been revealed by the British press. Apparently, Ingolstadt is looking to resurrect the legendary rally name from the 1980s with a top of the range Audi A1 Quattro version. Details of the engine powering the Audi A1 Quattro are not known yet, however, there are several speculations circulating the web. The Audi A1 Quattro might get the 1.4 TFSI 182 bhp engine from the current top of the line A1, a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine or even the 2.0-liter engine from the Golf GTI. some speculations even say the Audi A1 Quattro will output as much as 240 hp, which is quite a lot for a car this size.
The top speed of the Audi A1 Quattro will be limited to 250 km/h, obviously, but the new
performance model is expected to go from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6 seconds.
The Audi A1 Quattro will get various exterior aerodynamics tweaks and an updated interior. The Audi A1 Quattro will probably get new front and rear bumpers, re-designed side skirts and a carbon fiber trim at the interior.
