Audi has developed the new Audi A1 as an answer for BMW's Mini Cooper and the journalists from AutoExpress are some of the first to compare the two small models. They compared the Mini Cooper against the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI which outputs 122PS and 200Nm. The Audi A1 is priced in the UK from 13,145 GBP and the top of the line model goes for just a little over 18,000 GBP. One of the first things they noticed in this comparison test is that the Audi A1 has more of a large car feel, and not the go kart sensation given by the Mini Cooper. they also managed to spot some other differences too between the Audi A1 and the Mini Cooper.
