At the end of last week, BMW revealed the M Sport package for the latest generation 2012 BMW 6 Series coupe, which will go on sale on October 15th, 2011. The Bavarian car manufacturer also announced today the 2012 BMW 6 Series M Sport price list for the British market, where the model will go on sale towards the end of this week. The M Sport package will be available for all versions of the 2012 BMW 6 Series coupe ( the 650i, the 640i and the diesel 640d) and it will include several upgrades for the exterior and interior of the car.
BMW's 2012 640i M Sport and 640d M Sport will feature 18-inch light alloy wheels, while the top of the range 650i M sport will come with shiny new 19-inch alloys.
What the M Sport package basically does for the 2012 6 Series Bimmer is to add a new aerodynamics package, featuring new spoilers and side skirts. The front spoiler of the 2012 6 Series M Sport features three large air intakes and LED fog lights, while the rear one comes with a black strip for s distinctive visual effect. The 2012 BMW 6 Series M Sport also includes chromed exhaust pipes, a High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim and black brake calipers.
For the interior of the 2012 BMW 6 Series M Sport, BMW is offering an Anthracite headlining,
sport seats with electric adjustment and memory, a multifunction leather steering wheel, a Professional Multimedia Navigation system, the rear Park Distance Control system and a Headup Display.
The safety systems fitted on the new 6 Series M Sport include Surround view, BMW Night Vision with pedestrian recognition, Parking Assist, Lane Change Warning System, Lane Departure Warning System, and Speed Limit Display.
The 2012 BMW 6 Series M Sport price list starts at £66,745 GBP for the 640d, at £64,230 GBP for the 640i and goes up to £71,840 GBP for the 650i.
