Hyundai unveiled today the new generation 2012 i20 Blue, which emits just 98 g/km of CO2. The i20 Blue is Hyundai's lowest CO2 emitting model and it's exempt from London's Congestion Charge. It falls in the British VED Band A, which means the British customers will not have to pay a 0 GBP first year rate and 0 GBP standard rate. The 2012 Hyundai i20 Blue is powered by a 1.4 CRDi four-cylinder diesel engine, which is Euro V compliant and develops 90 PS at 4,000 rpm and 220 Nm of torque between 1750 rpm and 2750 rpm. The 2012 i20 Blue has a top speed of 108 mph and Hyundai says it can hit the 62 mph mark in 13.5 seconds.

The 2012 i20 Blue has some amazing efficiency figures. Hyundai says it emits 98 g/km of CO2 and

that it offers a fuel economy of up to 76.4 mpg in the combined cycle.

The standard equipment of Hyundai's i20 Blue 2012 includes 15 inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, electric heated and folding door mirrors, electric front and rear windows, steering wheel audio controls, USB and aux connections, air conditioning and remote central locking.
