Hyundai revealed today their new i20 WRC rally car, which is going to compete in the 2014 FIA World Rally Championship. Hyundai Motorsport launched the 2014 i20 WRC today during an invent that took place in Frankfurt. The racing debut of the new Hyundai i20 WRC (2014) is going to take place at Monte Carlo next month. The two Hyundai i20 WRC rally cars will be driven by Thierry Neuville (lead driver) and Juho Hanninen. Dani Sordo and Chris Atkinson will compete with Neuville in several events. Sordo has confirmed his participation in Rallye Monte-Carlo, while Atkinson confirmed for Rally Australia. Unfortunately, Hyundai did not disclose any technical details regarding the 2014 i20 WRC. In comparison to the road-going version of the i20, the WRC rally car comes with a wide body kit, modified bumpers, a rear diffuser, new hood with vents for cooling the engine, a roof scoop and a massive rear wing.

We'll have more details regarding the 2014 Hyundai i20 WRC as soon as the Korean manufacturer makes them available.
