Jaguar launched at this year's Geneva auto show one of the most powerful model they have ever built - the 2012 XKR-S. Recently the car maker has launched the first promo clip for the new 2012 Jaguar XKR-S, which will go on sale later this year. Are you wondering just how powerful the new Jag XKR-S is? They fitted it with a supercharged V8 that can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in just 8.6 seconds. Jaguar's new 2012 XKR-S is able to do this with the help of 550PS and 680Nm of torque. The official specs also say the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S can get from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and that it has a top speed of 186 mph (300km/h).
In terms of looks, the new XKR-S gives up a bit of the elegance Jaguar has always been know for,
in favour of better aerodynamics. The 2012 Jaguar XKR-S features a more aggressive front spoiler and it comes with a less than discreet boot lid spoiler and rear diffuser. The double twin pipe exhaust system doesn't help it go unnoticed either.
