Today we get yet another review of the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S, and this time it comes from the British journalists from AutoExpress. They test Jaguar's 2012 XKR-S on both public roads, and on the race track. Premiered at this year's Geneva auto show, the 2012 XKR-S is the fastest production vehicle Jaguar has ever built. They also say its the most agile Jag ever built too. In cold figures, the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S has an output of 550PS and 680Nm of torque, developed by a supercharged V8 engine. Its top speed is rated at 300km/h (186 mph) and Jaguar says it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds. They also say that this blue Jag can get from 0 to 100 mph in 8.6 seconds.
In comparison to the standard XKR, the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S has few nice tricks under its skin,
including a new suspension, and a more responsive Adaptive Dynamics system.
