One of the first 2012 Jaguar XKR-S review videos appeared on the web today, showing the new performance Jag in action on public roads. The new version of Jaguar's performance XKR comes with an upgraded engine, improved handling and updated looks. The power of the new 2012 Jaguar XKR-S comes from a V8 engine equipped with supercharging that's good for 550PS and 680Nm of torque. Jaguar does not limit the top speed of the 2012 XKR-S, so the car can run freely until it reaches the 300 km/h (186mph) mark. The 2012 Jaguar XKR-S gets there fast as it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds. Jaguar also mentions that the new 2012 XKR-S can rocket from 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in just 8.6 seconds.
For better handling, the 2012 XKR-S Jag comes with new aerodynamics, including a rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler, and the Adaptive Dynamics system.
