2012 Maserati Quattroporte AWD

According to recent reports coming from the USA Maserati is working on an all-wheel-drive version of the 2012 Quattroporte. Apart from the new drive system, the 2012 Maserati Quattroporte AWD will also receive Start/Stop technology which will improve its fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions level. With mother company Ferrari working on more environment friendly technologies, Maserati can not be left behind.

The 2012 Maserati Quattroporte AWD will also be considerably lighter than the current version, as explained by the company’s boss Harald Wester. However, we can't see how this is possible since an all-wheel-drive system usually adds a considerable amount of weight to any car.

The 2012 Maserati Quattroporte AWD will be powered by smaller V8 and V6 engines coupled with a 8-speed transmission.

The complete price and specifications of the 2012 Maserati Quattroporte AWD will be available at a later date. We'll keep you posted until then with the latest developments regarding this model.
