Maserati is going to premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show the new Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna limited edition, which will go into production next year. The Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna comes with a unique color scheme, high quality materials and an exquisite finish. Maserati's new Quattroporte special edition is the result of their collaboration with a high-end fashion company. According to the carmaker, the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna's exterior finish is able to simulate the fluidity and purity of metal. We're not really sure how it can simulate the "purity of metal", but we'll take their word for it. To get this paint effect, Maserati used ultra-fine aluminum pigments, a gloss black primer and a platinum metallic color.

For the interior of the Quattroporte Zegna, Maserati chose moka and greige leather for the door panels and roof lining, as well as velvet for other trim parts.

The Maserati Quattroporte Zegna's price has not been disclosed yet.
