Maserati revealed today the new generation 2013 Quattroporte, which is going to have its world debut at the 2013 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) this January in Detroit, USA. In comparison to its predecessor, the 2013 Maserati Quattroporte comes with a completely new exterior and interior design. The new Quattroporte (2013) continues to have Maserati's trademark front grille, but it's now slightly reshaped. The new Quattroporte (2013) comes with re-styled headlights, a more aggressive front bumper and a contoured bonnet. The luxury four-door sedan also features a new side line that gives it more elegance. Maserati completely redesigned the 2013 Quattroporte's rear too. The dull rear styling of the current generation Quattroporte has been replaced by new tail lights, a discreet boot lid spoiler and four stylish exhaust pipes.

At the interior, the new Maserati Quattroporte (2013) shows new dials, a modified steering wheel and a completely new center console. It also appears to offer more room for both and front and the rear passengers. The new Quattroporte (2013) comes with four individual seats and monitors integrated into the front seats.

To power the 2013 Quattroporte, Maserati is using a new V8 engine, however, its specifications are still a closely guarded secret.

The new Quattroporte (2013) has been developed in collaboration with Ferrari, so, we should expect decent levels of performance from the new version of the sedan. Maserati says they designed the 2013 Quattroporte to be lighter than its predecessor, and to be able to carry various powertrain architectures and transmission configurations. This means that the 2013 Quattroporte is going to be available with a range of engine and gearbox options.

We'll have more details about the 2013 Maserati Quattroporte as soon as they're available.
