Nissan announced today the price list of the 2012 Versa sedan for the United Sates market. The 2012 Nissan Versa is powered by a new 1.6-liter HR16DE 4-cylinder engine equipped with a twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC) system mounted on both intake and exhaust ports. Nissan rates the output of the 2012 Versa sedan at 109 hp and 107 lb-ft of torque. The 2012 Versa will be available in three trim levels, S, SV and SL, and with a choice between a 5-speed manual gearbox and the CVT transmission.

The 2012 Versa 5MT is rated with a 27 mpg fuel consumption in the city, 36 mpg on the highway and 30 mpg on the combined cycle. Nissan's CVT version of the 2012 Versa is rated with 30 mpg in the city, 38 mpg on the highway and 33 mpg on the combined cycle.

The 2012 Nissan Versa price list for the USA market starts at 10,990 USD for the base, 1.6 S 5MT model, and goes up to 15,560 USD for the top of the range, 1.6 SL CVT version. These are the manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices* (MSRP). The actual car may have a slightly different cost in the dealerships. The 2012 Versa sedan goes on sale across the U.S. this August.
