Porsche launched last weekend a video featuring Michael Mauer, the company's Style Director, who offers a detailed presentation of the latest generation 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S. Even though some of you might not spot the differences between the 2012 Porsche 911 991 and the previous version of the Carrera S, the German sports car manufacturer says it has been completely re-designed. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S has a 100 millimeter (around 3.9 inches) longer wheelbase, a reduced overall height and large diameter 20-inch wheels. The 2012 Porsche 911 also has a wider track, and new side mirrors which are now positioned on the upper edge of the doors.

The 2012 Porsche 911 has a lightweight body made

from aluminum, which saves up to 45 kg, and a re-designed interior.

The 2012 911 991 Carrera S is powered by a 3.8-litre boxer engine, which outputs 400 hp, and is able to get the coupe from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds (when equipped with the Sport Chrono package).
