The updated 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera facelift is going to have its world debut next week at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. The 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera's price starts at 96,605 Euros and it will go on sale on December 12th. The new 2016 Porsche 911 comes with a few discreet design changes, and new technology. Visually, it features re-styled headlights and rear lights, new wheels, modified door handles, and a new engine cover. As far as technology goes, the facelifted Porsche 911 (2016) comes with an automatic speed control system. This system applies the brakes when a preset speed is exceeded. The PDK version of the 2016 Porsche 911 can be equipped with an optional Adaptive Cruise Control system with a coasting function. The new Porsche 911 (2016) is also fitted with a lane change assistant system and a post-collision braking system.

At the interior, the 2016 Porsche 911 comes equipped with the carmaker's Communication Management System (PCM) with a 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay, an improved navigation system, real-time traffic information, Google Earth and Google Streetview. The new 911 Carrera is also equipped with a smartphone tray with an integrated charger.

The PDK version of the 2016 Porsche 911 comes with a newly developed function called Sport Response Button. This function offers maximum acceleration for 20 seconds.



The 2016 Porsche 911 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 370 hp and 450 Nm of torque in the Carrera and 420 hp and 500 Nm of torque in the Carrera S. When equipped with the PDK transmission and the Sport Chrono Package the 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds. The 2016 Carrera S get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 191 mph (300+ km/h).
