The first 2012 Porsche 911 review video surfaced the web today, just hours after the German carmaker unveiled its cabriolet version. In this clip, Chris Harris from the British EVO Magazine, takes the 2012 Porsche 911 991 for a test-drive on the roads of California, USA. Chris offers various insights into how does the 2012 911 feel to drive, its handling, its build quality, and various other aspects. Apart from getting serious information regarding the new 911, we also get the chance to see it drift for the first time.

The 2012 Porsche 911 991 comes with several improvements in comparison to its predecessor. It has a longer wheelbase, a wider track, and shorter overhangs.

The power comes from either a 3.4-litre boxer engine, in the Carrera, or a 3.8-litre unit in the Carrera S.

In terms of performance, the top of the range 2012 Porsche 911 S is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds, when equipped with the Sport Chrono package. The price of the new 911 starts at 81,242 GBP (or 102,436 EUR in the rest of Europe).
