Porsche released a number of teaser images of the new 2016 911 facelift, which is expected to have its public debut this September, at the IAA in Frankfurt. These images were taken during a testing session, which took place in South Africa recently. Unfortunately, The German carmaker did not disclose any technical specifications regarding the 2016 Porsche 911 facelift. However, various sources are reporting that the 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera is going to be powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine developing around 400 hp. The facelifted 911 Carrera S will come with a larger 3.4-liter turbo engine. As far as the 2016 Porsche 911 facelift's exterior design goes, we noticed that the styling of both its headlights and rear lights has been modified.

Its LED DRL's also seem to have slightly different styling.

The facelifted Porsche 911 (2016) also seems to have new front and rear bumpers, modified engine vents, and a new exhaust system. We will have more details of the facelifted 911 (2016) as soon as Porsche makes them available.
