The new 2012 Porsche 911 spy video has surfaced on the web recently including some of the first details. The next generation 2012 Porsche 911 998 has been spied doing winter testing in Sweden and it looks to be lower and wider than the current version. However, the general design of the 2012 Porsche 911 doesn't show much difference in comparison to the current generation model.
Various sources believe the next generation 2012 Porsche 911 will share some of its components with the Cayman, but this is just speculation at the moment. The reason for this is the lowering of the 2012 Porsche 911 price.
The 2012 Porsche 911 is also said to benefit from an active aerodynamics package which will
probably include the rear spoiler and maybe an active front spoiler. As far as the engine goes, the 2012 Porsche 911 will probably be power by the same unit, possibly with a little more power.
