New details of the 2012 Porsche Panamera Hybrid have surfaced the web today as the German carmaker is preparing to launch its new green model in 2011. Most probably, the 2012 Porsche Panamera Hybrid will use the same powertrain as the one on the Cayenne S Hybrid. This means the 2012 Porsche Panamera Hybrid will have a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine developing 333 hp and an electric motor with an additional 47 horsepower. This will put the total output of the 2012 Porsche Panamera Hybrid to 380 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. In the Cayenne, this powertrain offers the possibility of driving in electric only mode for up to 60 km. The 2012 Porsche Panamera Hybrid might very well match this figure and even go past it.
