Porsche goes even further on their "green" path. After the 2009 Porsche Cayenne hybrid Autobuild.de talks about a hybrid Panamera also scheduled for 2009.
According to Autobuild.de the Porsche Panamera Hybrid will have a 50 hp electric engine working together with a 3.6 V8 280 hp petrol engine. Both the engines will be able to work together or by themselves. The battery will be in the spare wheel well.
The debut of this hybrid system will be made by the 2008 VOLKSWAGEN Touareg.
