One of the first review videos of the Panamera S Hybrid hit the web today, putting Porsche's bold efficiency claims to the test. The Panamera S Hybrid is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 compressor petrol engine that works together with a an electric motor. Porsche says that with this new powertrain, the Panamera S Hybrid is able to offer up to 41.54 mpg (6.8 l/100 km) with a 159 g/km CO2 emissions level.
Even though this figures are similar to the ones of a small budget hatchback, the Panamera S Hybrid is a powerful, four-door luxury saloon, and it's built by Porsche. The German sportscar maker says that the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid outputs a total of 380 hp and that it's able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 6.0 seconds.
It's top speed is rated at 168 mph (270 km/h).
Porsche will sell you a Panamera S Hybrid for 86,146 GBP or 106,185 Euros, when it goes on sale next month.
