The next generation 2013 Range Rover is currently under development, and recently, one of the prototypes was spotted during testing. The details of the future Range Rover are scarce at the moment, however, we do know that it will be built on a newly developed aluminum chassis. This should significantly reduce its weight. Some say that the 2013 Range Rover will be nearly 900 lbs lighter than the current generation model. This should reduce the 4x4's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. It should improve its handling characteristics too.
Judging from the few spy images of the 2013 Range Rover circulating around the web, the future generation model will have several design updates. It will come with new headlights and
LED daytime running lights, a new front bumper and grille and a new set of alloys.
