2013 Range Rover Spy Video

Recently, the future generation 2013 Range Rover appeared in this spy video filmed on the famous Nurburgring racetrack in Germany. The 2013 Range Rover caught on camera is completely covered in camouflage tape, so we can't tell you much about its design. However, we can tell you this: it does look pretty agile on the track. The 2013 Range Rover will feature several major improvements in comparison to the current model. For starters, it will be 900 pounds lighter, thanks to a new aluminum chassis and alloy body panels.

The 2013 Range Rover will be powered by both petrol and diesel engines. The company is expected to offer a plug-in hybrid too. Overall, the 2013 Range Rover model range will be much more eco-friendly than its predecessors.

It will have a lower fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions.

Even though the camo tape covered the whole prototype, we are safe to assume that the 2013 Range Rover will borrow many design cues from the Evoque. These Evoque inspired styling elements will be more visible at the front of the 2013 Range Rover, which will be equipped with new headlights and a new front bumper.

The 2013 Range Rover will be premiered sometime next year. Meanwhile, watch it action on the 'Ring in the video below.
