Tiff Needell from "Fifth Gear" got lucky. He tested the 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and compared it to the racing model. The 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was only 5 seconds slower than his racing brother.
The 997 version of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS entered production back in 2006 and is still one of the favorites among the brand's fans. It's power comes from a 3.6-liter engine developing 415 hp. Porsche also sells a version of the 911 GT3 RS 997 equipped with a larger and more powerful, 3.8-liter engine with an output of 435 hp. Porsche's 911 GT3 RS measures 174.3 in (4,427 mm) in length, 71.2 in (1,808 mm) in width and 50.4 in (1,280 mm) in height.
