Aston Martin revealed today at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este the new Vanquish Zagato concept. The Vanquish Zagato is the result of the collaboration between Aston Martin's Design team led by Marek Reichman and Andrea Zagato. The concept's body is made entirely of carbon fiber. Some of its distinctive design features include the round tail lights, which use the same LED technology as the Aston Martin Vulcan. The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato's wing mirrors are inspired by the One-77 and its rear end is inspired by the new DB11. The concept features a retractable spoiler, and four exhaust pipes, two on each side. Another distinctive design feature of the new Vanquish Zagato is its so-called "glasshouse", which wraps around the body of the concept. Another feature inspired by the DB11 is the side strake, which runs from wheel arch to door.

The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato comes with a "double-bubble" roof. This feature was originally meant to accommodate racing helmets with minimum impact on the aerodynamic profile.

The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, which puts out around 600 hp. The concept's performance figures (0-62 mph / 0-100 km/h acceleration, top speed) have not been disclosed yet.

At the interior, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato comes with carbon fiber trim parts, aniline leather and various anodized bronze styling accents.
