Aston Martin announced today the V12 Zagato's price list, together with the fact that they will premiere its road-going version of the V12 Zagato at the 2011 IAA Frankfurt Auto show next month. Apart from the street legal version of the V12 Zagato, the company will also display at the IAA the "largest display of contemporary Aston Martins ever seen", as they claim. Aston's V12 Zagato has its world debut at the Villa D'Este Concours on Lake Como, Italy, and has since been tested on the Nurburgring. In fact the Aston Zagato had its racing debut a week after its launch, in the 53rd ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup VLN race on the Nordschleife.

The Aston Martin Zagato is based on the V12 Vantage and it's powered by the same

6.0-litre V12 engine, which is modified to output 510 bhp (380 kW / 517 PS), and 570 Nm (420 lb ft) of torque.

Even though it's based on the V12 Vantage, Aston Martin's Zagato has a completely new body kit, with optimized aerodynamics. Aston gave the Zagato a new front fascia, with a larger grille, a new bonnet with huge air vents, new fenders with wider wheels arches and vents for cooling the brakes, a rear diffuser and a rear wing.

The Aston Martin Zagato price list starts at £330,000 GBP, without taxes, and the company says it will build only 150 of them. Aston will put the new Zagato into production next summer, but the company does not mention when will the first deliveries take place.

For its premiere in Frankfurt, Aston prepared a special version of the V12 Zagato, called Zig. It features a distinctive green livery and features the complete endurance race Aston Martin used for the model's Nurburgring debut.
