Aston Martin announced today that the V12 Vantage S is going to be sold with a manual gearbox too. The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S will be available with a 7-speed manual transmission with a "dog-leg" first gear. You must take into consideration that manual gearbox halve almost disappeared entirely from high-performance cars these days. This makes the manual version of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S a unique vehicle. The "dog-leg" feature of the Vantage's manual gearbox ensures the gears used most frequently are located in a double H pattern like that of a conventional 6-speed manual. The new manual gearbox comes with the AMSHIFT system. This system mimics heel-and-toe downshifts with the help of the clutch, the gear position, propshaft sensors and an especially programmed ECU.

The manual gearbox of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S comes at no extra cost. You simply have to choose between it and the Sportshift III automatic. In terms of performance, the manual version of the Aston Vantage is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 205 mph.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is now available with the Sport-Plus Pack option, which includes new exterior and interior colors, and new alloy wheels.

The first deliveries of the manual Aston Martin V12 Vantage S will begin during the third quarter of 2016.

You can get various Aston Martin merchandize, parts and accessories .
