Aston Martin has released today the details and an image of the 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nurburgring 24 hour race car. The new 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nurburgring comes with additional aerodynamic enhancements in comparison to the previous version, including new huge air vents behind the front fenders, a new rear wing and front spoiler. The team says the 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nurburgring benefits from greater aerodynamics downforce through the corners of the Nordschleife track.

The 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nurburgring has already been tested over the past few weeks on both the UK and Germany and the team is confident it will perform well at this year's race.

The 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nurburgring will be driven by Peter Cate (GB), Oliver Mathai (D), journalist Richard Meaden (GB) and Chris Porritt.

Apart from the new 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nurburgring, the team will also enter a Rapide race car which will be driven by the company's CEO, Dr Ulrich Bez.
