Aston Martin premiered the new V12 Zagato at the Villa D'Este Concours last weekend, and today we have the first video to show the new model. Aston's V12 Zagato also managed to win this year's event, even though it had some strong competition.
Aston Martin built the V12 Zagato to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the collaboration between the two companies, and the classic DB4GT model. Aston's new Zagato is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine developing 510 bhp and 570 Nm of torque. The supercar has a front mid-mounted engine, rear wheel drive architecture and features a 6-speed transmission. It also has a competition clutch and a limited slip differential.
The Aston Martin V12 Zagato is not just a simple concept, but an actual race car. It will have its competition debut at this year's Nurburgring 24 hour race on 25/26 June, 2011.
