B&B Automobiltechnik revealed today their new aftermarket program for the high-performance SQ5 version of the Audi Q5 crossover. The BB Audi SQ5 continues to be powered by the standard 3.0 TDI turbodiesel engine, but it has a maximum output of 400 hp and 800 Nm of torque. This is the third stage of B&B's power package for the Audi Q5. Stage 1 offers 340 hp and 720 Nm of torque, while Stage 2 puts 365 hp and 750 Nm of torque under the hood of the Audi SQ5. To get the extra power out of the SQ'5 engine, B&B reprogrammed its ECU and modified the charging air pressure. B&B's power kit for the SQ5 is priced at EUR 4,950.00 and it includes special injection elements, optimized suction lines, air ducts and a charging air cooling system. The air pressure is increased by around 0.25 bar.
Apart from the extra performance, B&B equips the SQ5 crossover with a bespoke body kit too. The aero package includes a new front apron with larger air intakes, a re-styled rear bumper and new side skirts. The BB Audi SQ5 is also fitted with customized tail pipes, and huge 22-inch alloys with Michelin tires. The B7B SQ5 is also fitted with lower springs that reduce its ride height by 30 mm.
