The BMW specialists from Alpina revealed today their latest model - the B3 GT3. Contrary to what some of you may believe, the BMW Alpina B3 GT3 is not based on the M3 coupe. It's powered by the equally impressive 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine, with twin turbos. Alpina has increased its output to 408hp at 6000rpm and 540Nm of torque at 4500rpm. Thanks to the extra horsepowers, the Alpina B3 GT3 is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 300 km/h.

Apart from the performance increase, Alpina's B3 GT3 3 Series Bimmer is also equipped with huge brakes. This means 380 x 35 mm discs and 6-spiton calipers on the front axle and 355 x 32 mm discs with 4-piston calipers on the rear one.

The BMW Alpina B3 GT3 comes with a new front spoiler, a boot lid wing and a loud Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system, which is 11kg lighter than the car's original one.

The BMW Alpina B3 GT3 price has not been announced.
