It's official: BMW announced that Gerhard Richter a member of the Executive Board of BMW M GmbH, is the project leader for the new BMW Gran Turismo. The BMW Gran Turismo was presented to the public for the first time as a conceptual study (the BMW CS ) at the Shanghai Auto Show in spring 2007.

Mr. Albert Biermann will be responsible for the future development of M and custom vehicles.
