2014 BMW 5 Series Facelift

BMW revealed this week the facelifted line-up of the 2014 5 Series model range. The German carmaker revealed the 2014 BMW 5 Series facelift, the 5 Series Touring, the GT and the new ActiveHybrid 5. In terms of design, not much has changed. BMW's 2014 5 Series sedan and touring come with a slightly modified front grille, and a new lower air intake. All versions of the facelifted BMW 5 Series (2014) come as standard with Xenon headlights. Optionally, you can equip yours with Adaptive LED lights. Both versions of the 2014 5 Series feature re-designed taillights, and a new crease in the rear bumper. All versions of the new 5 Series facelift have indicator repeaters integrated into their side mirrors. The new 2014 BMW 5 Series GT comes with a re-styled front air intake and an extended tailgate.

The new tailgate increases its boot capacity by 60 litres to 500 litres. The facelifted 5 Series GT (2014) comes with a few other minor design changes, such as a chrome strip in the rear apron.

For the interior of the new 2014 5 Series, BMW introduces chrome strips around the central Control Display. The sedan and the touring have larger storage spaces.

The new 5 Series range introduces the 2014 BMW 518d, which is an entry level diesel model.



It has a 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that's good for 105 kW/143 hp. the BMW 518d is available as a sedan and as a touring model. The new line-up will also include the all-wheel-drive 2014 BMW 335d xDrive.
