BMW M4 Coupe Concept

BMW revealed today the M4 Concept, which is going to have its global debut at the Pebble Beach / Monterey automobile weekend. So far, BMW did not disclose any details regarding the BMW M4's engine. However, we learned from various sources that the power is going to come from the acclaimed 3.0-liter inline-6 cylinder engine. Apparently, the BMW M4 is going to have an output of around 450 hp and 550 Nm of torque. This is just slightly more than the BMW M3 coupe which it’s going to replace. BMW's M4 Concept comes with an Aurum Dust exterior finish. This paint was especially developed for the M4. However it does seem to resemble the same color used for the E46 M3. In comparison to the standard 4 Series, the BMW M4 comes with a distinctive aerodynamics package, which includes wider fenders, a new front bumper with huge air intakes, side skirts, and a rear diffuser and boot lid lip.

The front splitter, the roof, or the rear diffuser of the M4 are made from CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics).

BMW will equip the future M4 with LED headlights, a bespoke bonnet with a power dome, and a double bar kidney grille.

We'll have more details about the BMW M4 concept as soon as the Bavarian carmaker is going to make them available.
