BMW revealed this week the full specs and images of the new M4 DTM, which is going to compete in the forthcoming season. The BMW M4 DTM is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine that develops 480 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The DTM M4 Bimmer comes with a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, carbon fiber body parts and a roll cage. It measures 4,775 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width and 1,200 mm in height. The M4 DTM's engine sends all its power to the Bimmer's rear wheels via a sequential 6-speed sports gearbox, a 4-plate ZF Sachs carbon-fiber clutch and an adjustable multi-disc limited-slip differential. There's no point in talking about the BMW M4 DTM's aerodynamics, since they're all available in the specs sheet available for download lower down this page.

BMW's DTM M4 sits on 18-inch forged aluminum wheels, Hankook tires, and high-performance racing brakes. The car weighs just 1,110 kg.

I don't know about you, but I would about anything to get to drive this beast. BMW says that the M4 was developed so that they could easily transform it into a DTM racer. Among the drivers who help BMW in the development of the M4 coupe there are Bruno Spengler and Timo Glock. Here are the full details and specifications of the BMW M4 DTM.
