Specifications of the future BMW M4 surfaced the web today, apparently coming from an official document. According to these specs, the BMW M4 is going to be powered by a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter inline engine equipped with turbocharging that puts out 310 kW (415 hp). This is less than the current version of the M3, which is quite interesting. However, the BMW M4 is lighter than the current M3, which could compensate for the lower power output of the engine. The document says that BMW is going to equip the M4 with an adaptive M suspension system, a backup camera, heated front seats, mirrors with an automatic anti-dazzle function, automatic high-beam control, and a lance changing warning system.
The equipment list of the BMW M4 will also include various driver assistance systems, parking distance control (PDC), Bluetooth and USB connectivity and a head-up display.
