BRABUS Mercedes G500 4x4 Gets 500 HP

BRABUS introduced at this year's IAA in Frankfurt their modified Mercedes G500 4x4, which comes with a power upgrade and countless interior and exterior styling mods. The BRABUS Mercedes G500 4x4 comes equipped with the B40 - 500 PowerXtra plug-and-play control module, which optimizes the electronic boost pressure and remaps the injection and the ignition. As a result, the new BRABUS G500 develops 368 kW / 500 HP (493 bhp) at 5,600 rpm and 710 Nm (523 lb-ft) of torque between 2,250 and 4,250 rpm. In terms of performance, the BRABUS Mercedes G500 is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). Apart from the new powerkit, the BRABUS Mercedes G500 4x4 comes equipped with stainless-steel sports exhaust system with butterfly valves, and dual chrome tailpipes.

The new exterior styling package, which is made of carbon fiber mostly, includes a new front bumper, underride guards, a hood scoop, a front grille, headlight surrounds, side mirror caps, and new wheel arches. The BRABUS Mercedes G500 is also equipped with LED lights with chrome surrounds, darkened Xenon headlights, various carbon fiber trim parts, underfloor lights, active running boards, and a new rear apron.

At the interior, the BRABUS Mercedes G500 4x4 features a black Mastik leather upholstery, an Alcantara headliner, illuminated stainless-steel scuff plates and other styling parts.

The price of these modifications has not been announced yet.
