Brabus revealed today their wide body kit for the new Mercedes G500 Convertible. Called the Brabus Widestar 6.1, the modified Mercedes G Class is powered by an upgraded engine that develops 340 kW / 462 hp and 615 Nm of torque. Brabus does not disclose the performance figures of their G500 widebody (0-62 mph / 0-100 km/h sprint time, top speed). However they do mention its efficiency figures. Apparently, the new Brabus Mercedes G500 Convertible emits 348 g/km of CO2, and it has a fuel economy of 20,0 l/100km / 11,9 l/100km / 14,9 l/100km in the city, on the highways and combined, respectively. Visually, the new convertible Brabus G500 comes with sider wheel arches, and new front and rear bumpers. It also has additional front LED daytime running lights, and a few other styling trim parts.

For the interior of the Mercedes G500, Brabus is offering a new set of seats, which are upholstered in leather, illuminated door sills and carbon styling parts. Brabus did not disclose the price of their modifications for the new Mercedes G500.
