Bentley Grand Convertible Concept

 »  »  »

The Bentley Grand Convertible concept had its world debut at the end of last week, during the opening of the 2014 Los Angeles auto show. Some rumors already say that this new concept will spawn a Bentley Grand coupe too. The Bentley Grand Convertible is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that puts out 537 PS (530 bhp / 395 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb.ft.) of torque. So far, Bentley did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration of the Grand Convertible. Its top speed has not been announced either. The Grand Convertible aims to be the most sophisticated open-top car ever created by Bentley. The Grand Convertible features a rich blue exterior finish with a silver liquid metal finish on the bonnet and windscreen frame.

For the interior of the Grand Convertible, Bentley used 14 naturally tanned leather hides with progressive-diamond quilting and Beluga leather on a few select trim parts.

The Bentley Grand Convertible is basically the open-top version of the Mulsanne. This new concept might enter production sometime in the future.
