One of today's rumors offers info on a possible future Bentley Mulsanne convertible, which will probably replace the future generation Azure. The Bentley Mulsanne convertible is expected to go into production in 2012 and will be powered by the same 6.75 liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 505bhp and 1020 Nm of torque. The Bentley Mulsanne convertible will probably have a top speed of 296 km/h and will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The Bentley Mulsanne convertible will probably have a soft top, so the actual performance numbers will by lower than the ones of the hard-top. The Bentley Mulsanne convertible will also be heavier due to parts added to increase the rigidity of the car.
Apart from the Bentley Mulsanne convertible, the company from Crewe is planning to also offer a two-door version of the Mulsanne.
