Bentley Mulsanne Hybrid Concept

Bentley announced today the Mulsanne Hybrid concept, which is going to have its world debut at the end of this month. However, the first production hybrid Bentley is not going to be the Mulsanne, but the carmaker's future SUV. Bentley's hybrid SUV is set to go on sale sometime in 2017. Bentley also states that by the end of this decade most of their models are going to be available e with a hybrid powertrain. Apparently, the Bentley Mulsanne Hybrid is going to have 25% more power and it will emit 70% less CO2. The hybrid Mulsanne is going to be able to run for up to 50km on electric power only. Bentley fitted the Mulsanne Hybrid with several distinctive exterior and interior styling elements, most of them being made out of copper.

Some of the Mulsanne Hybrid's copper trim parts include the electrical veins, details around the headlights, radiator shell bezel, brake calipers and badges. At the interior, the Mulsanne Hybrid's veneers fascias, switch bezels and instruments also feature copper parts.
